Welcome to Perth and Kinross Quality of Life Trust Perthshire area is renowned for the splendour of its scenery, its historic towns, the quality of its produce and the hospitality and creativity of its people. People in Perth and Kinross have a sense of pride in where they live and work. They want to see everyone working together to make their towns and villages a better place to live. They have already developed a variety of social, economic, environmental and cultural initiatives in the Heart of Scotland and with great successes. Perth and Kinross Quality of Life Trust, set up in December 1999, believes that the values and principles of sustainable development are key drivers to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Perth and Kinross area. The Trust is committed to be open, participatory, user-friendly and to operate effectively and ethically. It focuses on three strategic outcomes: BETTER SUPPORT: Communities and local initiatives improving quality of life are better supported.
BETTER GRANTMAKING: Grantmaking is easier and more effective for local and external funders.
BETTER RECOGNITION: Local achievements are better recognised.
Children and Young People, Communities and Organisations are the target groups benefiting from the achievement of the above outcomes.
