Sustainable Development

What is Sustainable Development?

Quality of life or Sustainable Development happens when:

People - the social, cultural, health and well-being aspects of life

Work - the economic side - producing and selling things, earning income, providing a service

Place - the physical and natural environment

Are equally balanced and developed together.

One element should not develop at the expense of others.

When Sustainable Development is explained simply and illustrated by examples, the general public and local communities can easily identified what it is and how they can contribute.
