LOCAL FUNDING (AUCHTERARDER) Auchterarder & District Community Trust The Auchterarder & District Community Trust was established in 2008 by the Auchterarder Community Council to distribute monies received by the Auchterarder Community as a whole to charitable groups and organisations within the Auchterarder & District area. This enables the Trustees to donate to a wide range of charitable objects and activities, which take place in, or have a direct impact on, the inhabitants of Auchterarder & District. What the Trust DOES support; Organisations / groups that are of charitable purpose as per the current OSCR (Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator) guidelines. (See list page 4) Projects for the benefit of the local (Auchterarder & District) community.
Individuals Organisations that are not of charitable purpose. General appeals and circulars including contributions to endowment funds Charities whose main work takes place out with Auchterarder & District Projects which are exclusively or primarily intended to promote political or religious beliefs Students or organisations for personal study, travel or for expeditions whether in the United Kingdom or abroad Organisations and projects whose primary object is to provide a counselling, advocacy, advice and/or information service (Guidance Notes) (Application Form) Auchterarder Common Good Fund WHO CAN APPLY?
Within the boundary of the relevant common good area and if funding is available, applications will be considered from individuals either in full time education or of senior citizen status and from groups whose members qualify on the same basis or which are operating within the same boundary. WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE ELIGIBLE
Under this category, the following activities may be considered: - School/youth exchanges Applications will also be considered, if funding is available, covering the following broader activities: - Christmas lighting - Firework displays up to a maximum of 50% of the total costs WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE
The following activities will not normally be considered: - Assistance with College fees ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The following additional general recommendations are also applicable: - Common Good Funds normally limit expenditure to their available income in any one year.
