ABOUT PERTH AND KINROSS GRANTS DIRECT Perth and Kinross Grants Direct is a one-stop-shop to help individuals and local community groups from the Perth and Kinross area to access funding. The service was set up by Perth and Kinross Council and partners (see below) to provide an easy access to information, advice and support to local community groups seeking funding from local sources or from sources outside the Perth and Kinross area. Perth and Kinross Grants Direct also provides support to local funders such as Perth and Kinross Council to administer their grant schemes. For example, all funders are using the same Single Application Form. · In 2006/07 Perth and Kinross Grants organized 25 funding surgeries in partnership with Perth and Kinross Council of Voluntary Services (CVS) and Council’s Community Capacity Building Officers. · In 2006/07, Perth and Kinross Grants Direct helped local funders to process 423 applications, distribute 314 grants totaling £1,081,088, and for a total project value of £5,368,363. ONLINE DATABASE SEARCH FACILITY Perth and Kinross Council of Voluntary Services and Perth and Kinross Council subscribe to PerthandKinross4Community, a user-friendly service which has been devised to assist individuals and organisations in identifying funding sources available for specific projects.
